About me
minister taf
From missed football dreams to a divine calling, Minister Taf is redefining Gospel Reggae in the UK with a sound that’s as bold as it is uplifting. Blending Caribbean roots with unshakable faith, he delivers music that doesn’t just move bodies, it transforms lives. His message is simple but powerful: faith over fear, purpose over pressure, and God above everything.
Minister Taf’s sound is a vibrant fusion of reggae, dancehall, and gospel, layered with sharp lyricism, catchy melodies, and spiritual conviction. Whether he’s flowing over hard-hitting beats or riding soulful rhythms, his music carries an unmistakable energy, uplifting, authentic, and deeply rooted in scripture and real-life experience.
His style bridges cultures and generations, making Gospel Reggae accessible to both church audiences and mainstream listeners, while staying true to his mission of spreading hope and truth, as well as winning souls for Christ.
Born and raised in Jamaica, Minister Taf never set out to become a musician. His first love was football, and by age 16 he was on track for a promising career, even earning selection for Jamaica’s U17 trials. After relocating to the UK in 2009, he pursued the dream further with trials at Barnet FC but the breakthrough never came.
MAN ON A MISSION
In 2012, everything changed. After hearing the voice of God calling him into music, Taf made a life-altering decision. Starting out as a rapper, he gradually discovered his true artistic identity within Gospel Reggae.
Since then, his journey has been defined by obedience, resilience, and purpose. His music is inspired by faith, life experiences, and a desire to encourage others, especially those navigating disappointment, identity, and destiny.
Minister Taf’s impact continues to grow across the UK and internationally:

He also leads a lifestyle movement through his merchandise lines #BIGUPGOD and DIFFERENT, encouraging people to boldly live out their faith and embrace their uniqueness.
Minister Taf isn’t just making music, he’s building a movement. With every lyric, performance, and project, he continues to push Gospel Reggae forward while staying anchored in his calling: to inspire, uplift, and point people back to God.
